About

I’m Sabrina, a young woman living in a rural community in southern Manitoba. I have always loved fashion and home decor and found blogging to be the perfect outlet for expressing those interests.

On December 14th of 2018 my husband and I wed and moved to a small town outside of the big city to be closer to work and shed a little stress off our lives.

Shortly after we wed I had experienced some bizarre episodes which led into a diagnosis with a condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Wish a big push from my husband I decided to start my blog some time after receiving my diagnosis in the midst of feeling a bit lost. Living with an invisible chronic illness comes with it’s share of battles but starting The Petite Press has helped me feel more like myself again. It’s given me the push to burn my creative energy and get away from the stresses that come with living with a chronic illness. All the while being something I can physically keep up with and can give me more purpose while having to have a lot more downtime.

I’m hoping with starting The Petite Press, I start by gaining a few small things. Satisfaction by having an outlet that allows me to express my passions. Helping others by leading inspiration whether that be by spreading invisible chronic illness awareness, motivation that you can still do what you love while living with a chronic illness and by inspiring others with home design and fashion for their own. Finally, growing a little community of others that can relate to my content.

So with that being said, follow along and let’s be friends!
